Leading Independent Wealth Management Firm Welcomes Shawn Bean, Deanna Conway and Trey Whitley to New Oklahoma City Office
OKLAHOMA CITY (Feb. 21, 2018) – Wymer Brownlee, a leading independent wealth management firm, today announced the expansion of its financial planning and tax planning teams with the hiring of Shawn Bean as tax advisor, Deanna Conway as tax coordinator and Trey Whitley as financial strategist. The three newly added professionals enhance the firm’s ability to deliver integrated financial services, which encompass tax and financial advice, from its Oklahoma City office at Portland and Memorial – one of the firm’s five Oklahoma locations. Wymer Brownlee serves high net worth individuals, families and business owners, providing them with wealth management, financial strategies, tax planning and preparation, business accounting and business consulting services.

Wymer Brownlee’s unique, integrated service model ensures financial advisors and tax professionals are in constant communication. As a tax advisor, Bean will determine each client’s tax liability and collaborate with in-house wealth advisors to maximize tax benefits in conjunction with their long-term financial plans. He will collect and analyze clients’ financial information to prepare timely and accurate federal, state, local and special tax returns. Bean received his undergraduate degree and Master of Accountancy from the University of Oklahoma. He’s actively involved in his church, husband to Krista and hands-on new dad to their son, Braxton.
Conway will support Wymer Brownlee’s advisors as a tax coordinator, serving as the client liaison, maintaining updated client databases and processing tax returns and other financial statements. Her warm welcome, can-do attitude and meticulous management of details enable the tax team to deliver superior service. Conway obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Northwestern Oklahoma State University and previously worked for Conoco, Inc. as a senior title analyst. She and her husband, Paul, have two children – Jason and Sarah.
As a financial strategist, Whitley prepares analyses for wealth management issues ranging from estate planning and insurance to debt management, tax planning and other financial strategies. He supports Wymer Brownlee financial advisors in developing relationships and helping clients understand the complete picture of their financial landscape. Whitley earned his undergraduate degree in physical education and athletic training from Oklahoma State University and holds an MBA from the University of Central Oklahoma and M.S. in Energy Management from Oklahoma City University. He and his wife, Tracey, volunteer their time to youth and family organizations across the state including Youth Services of Oklahoma County and the Single Parent Support Network.
The addition of these three professionals follows Wymer Brownlee’s announcement in the closing weeks of last year about the strategic expansion of capabilities to afford access to concierge legal services in support of clients’ financial and business planning objectives.
