We are eager to announce that a new scholarship fund has been established to support and encourage Enid-area students attending Northern Oklahoma College-Enid and Northwestern Oklahoma State University. The R. Deane Wymer Scholarship Fund will honor our founder, Deane Wymer, who pioneered our firm’s inception into what it is today – a leading tax, accounting, and financial planning firm.
The Cherokee Strip Community Foundation has approved our distribution request to the Enid Higher Education Council. Wymer Brownlee will commit $1,500 per year for four years to each awarded student for the 2021-2024 school years.
“Deane Wymer was a servant above anything else, constantly putting others before himself and believed strongly in helping people,” said Kyle Brownlee, Chief Executive Officer of Wymer Brownlee Wealth Strategies. “He was quick to notice what the world around him needed and was a man of action.”
Deane was passionate about many things and encouraging education in young adults was one of them. We are ecstatic to establish this new scholarship fund to honor his legacy while inspiring young adults today through continued education and development.
