Wymer Brownlee Wealth Strategies announced today its acquisition of Perry-based firm Jennie Wade CPA. Perry marks Wymer Brownlee’s sixth location in the state including its birthplace of Fairview and headquarters in Enid.
“This new association with Wymer Brownlee offers valuable resources to my team, and I’m grateful for the additional support as we move into our busy season and an increasingly complex tax environment,” said Jennie Wade, owner and certified public accountant. “Wymer Brownlee has extensive experience working with farmers, small businesses and corporate executives, and its culture of hard work and approachability is a great fit for our team.”
In addition to providing tax and accounting services, Wymer Brownlee Wealth Strategies offers holistic financial planning, investment management and business consulting. Founded in Fairview in 1969 by R. Deane Wymer, 2019 marks the firm’s 50th year in business. Wymer Brownlee employs more than 50 people and serves clients from offices in Tulsa, Bartlesville, Oklahoma City, Enid, Fairview and now Perry.
“Jennie and her team are a tremendous asset to our firm thanks to their knowledge, experience and understanding of client needs,” said Kyle Brownlee, chief executive officer of Wymer Brownlee Wealth Strategies. “Our goal is to support them in whatever ways they need, so we can deliver the best possible financial advice to the communities we serve.”
Jennie Wade CPA’s staff of four will continue to serve clients under the new Wymer Brownlee Wealth Strategies brand and will retain the office location at 621 Delaware in Perry. Effective immediately, the Perry office will observe new hours of operation: 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday to Thursday throughout tax season and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. the remainder of the year. The office will be closed to the public on Fridays.
